SKYDIVING!!!!

So today is my birthday and i was so excited cause i decided to go skydiving... im not really excited to be 20. Today 20 tomorrow 30.. life is going by way too fast!! Anyways, i went and it was a blast.. so exhilirating- I will never forget that moment... It was awesome!! After, we went to lunch and then to matsumoto's for some shaved ice.. Now i have to study for my statistics test thats tomorrow cause its midterm week.. so thats a drag but at least I turned 20 with a bang!! YAY for 20 :).. even though i'm really kind of sad im not a teenager anymore! oh well im starting a new chapter in my life and i'm excited about that!! LIFE IS GOOD!! :)

Trip to Big Island!!

I went to Kona, on the Big Island (it's technically called the island of Hawaii but they call it the Big Island!) this weekend. I had alot of fun, we went with a ward group at first and did 5 baptismal sessions at the Kona Hawaii Temple. It was such a good experience. The Kona temple is really small but they welcomed us with open arms and they were the greatest people.. we were so thankful for them and their help!! Most of the ward left the next day but we stayed in a hotel for the other 2 nights because it was a long weekend and we didn't have school!! We went through all the shops, i got a henna tattoo, went snorkling, saw turtles and dolphins, met a donkey, went to a black sand beach, and went kayaking to Captain Cook. It was amazing, I had a blast!! My favorite part was the snorkling.. there were so many types of fish.. kylie lent me some of the pictures she took with her underwater camera.. AWESOME!! The whole time i kept thinking.. my mom would love this- When we come back we will definitely be doing that!! :)

Home Sweet Home

This is my house.. i live on the right side under the stairs.. its nicer then most places in Hawaii!! i really like it.. i live in a room with 2 other girls, but i got there first so i got the single bed.. yay!! ha..

Waikiki...

So yesterday we went with a big group of people and went to Waikiki.. On the way we stopped at Pipeline and saw the big waves like the ones you see on tv... it was awesome!! Then we went to the swap meet and got some swimsuits and cool jewelry then we finally headed to the beach for some good ol surfing.. A friend taught us and i got up on my first try (not for very long, but atleast i got up). Although i had major motion sickness the whole time, I got better as the day went on.. It was an awesome experience!!

The pro bowl party was on the main street by the beach in Waikiki.. so their were no cars allowed on it, everyone was walking up and down the street and different bands were playing. Many people were singing and dancing.. we joined them of course!! After eating and dancing we walked the streets of Waikiki and took many random pictures!! I think we all had a blast! One of the funnest days so far! Waikiki is really fun.. but their are alot of people there and by 1 a.m i was ready to be back in Laie.. I'm pretty sure i'll be back in Waikiki again and i'll be ready for more surfing!! yay! :)
