MY BEST FRIEND!

I LOVE Freckles McDuggan..

Tonight my best friend died.. His name was Freckles and I've known him for 16 years! He was my dog. my companion. my friend. He will always be in my heart and I will forever remember how he use to smile at me when I came home from school., and the freckles that were on his nose-the reason we named him Freckles! This dog was not an ordinary dog, no he was extrordinary. He loved chasing cats, stilling neighbors leather gloves from there garages, playing ball, jumping off the deck at full speed chasing magpies, begging for food, and always making you smile when you had a bad day. You may not think thats so great but you just had to know him.. He had a great spirit. He had been sick for a while and we knew this day would come but that doesn't make it any easier. He died peacefully in my arms, we buried him with some of his favorite things.. a ball, leather glove, and a treat! When I get to heaven I will say, "Come here big boy." and hold him in my arms and give him a kiss on his wet nose.. He will be sorely missed!! I love you Freckles McDuggan Unck.. Good bye for now.. till we meet again! :) -You'll always be in my heart!
